Entering the world of virtual staffing and making everything available online has greatly changed the way things are done in almost every aspect of our lives. With the nudge of the pandemic where everybody was in the comfort of their homes, there wasn’t any real choice but to make do with what we had then.
And with that, we became more receptive and open to the possibilities of doing things remotely – conducting meetings, working from home, and even teaching fitness classes. Everybody has pivoted their business online. This has greatly opened up opportunities, particularly in the virtual staffing/outsourcing space.
Outsourcing is not something new, most especially in the Philippines. However, this was only accepted by the bigger companies in the past. What we have started noticing, is that more and more small businesses have opened up to the idea of virtual staffing and outsourcing. However, as a small business, one thing they are wary of, with their limited resources and knowledge on virtual staffing, is TRUST. Who do they really trust to work with for their small requirements? Won’t it be a risk to work with a virtual staff? Who do I tap and talk to about my outsourcing needs for the business?
These are a few of the many questions a small business may have in exploring outsourcing, and we can’t blame them. With the numerous scams and erroneous activities happening online, it’s not uncommon to have doubts about engaging in business with someone from across the globe.
So, how do we build trust in this industry? Here are a few of the things we’ve done with our clients based from experience:
- We get referrals from people we personally know;
- We constantly work with and communicate with our clients on a regular basis;
- We get referrals from clients – both current and past that we have worked with
- We try to become as transparent as we are
- We abide by our company beliefs, vision and mission
- We understand that this takes time
In summary, the shift to virtual staffing and remote work, accelerated by the pandemic, has reshaped the business landscape. Small businesses, once skeptical, are now more open to outsourcing, yet trust remains a significant concern. At Beyond Virtual Staffing, we have found that building trust requires a multifaceted approach: leveraging personal referrals, maintaining consistent communication, and prioritizing transparency. By adhering to our core beliefs, vision, and mission, we aim to foster long-term relationships with our clients. As we continue to navigate this evolving industry, our commitment to integrity and excellence will guide us in supporting businesses of all sizes to thrive in the new normal. Follow us to know more.
